{"id":5430,"date":"2015-09-28T17:11:20","date_gmt":"2015-09-28T14:11:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/koinonia.kiev.ua\/?p=5430"},"modified":"2016-03-22T13:34:56","modified_gmt":"2016-03-22T11:34:56","slug":"mercy-victory-over-judgement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/koinonia.kiev.ua\/en\/blog\/mercy-victory-over-judgement\/","title":{"rendered":"Mercy \u2013 Victory over Judgement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"WordSection1\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">At last <span class=\"SpellE\">Koinonia<\/span> we encountered the spirit of Jezebel really vividly, and we took the right position toward this spirit, as well as we entered the next 5 years that the Lord called \u20185 Years of Unity.\u2019 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">The spirit of Jezebel is an ancient spirit that in the Bible shown through a woman (Ahab\u2019s wife from the 1 Kings)<span class=\"GramE\">,<\/span> though actually this spirit doesn\u2019t have a gender, it can manifest itself both through women and men. The spirit of Jezebel is manipulating and controlling spirit that pushes the weak leaders off and aborts the birth of the Sons, who are still in the embryo state. Thus this spirit by means of control, accusation, religion, criticism, lies, pride, self-satisfaction and unhealthy ambitions is trying to hinder the children of God to become who they are and to fully transform into the image of the Father.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">I am sure that this spirit, as well as\u00a0other slaves of the enemy, can act, influence or use someone through the uncircumcised flesh. The man, who is not in the fleshly state, has the fruit of the Spirit. It means that the person allowed the Spirit of God to touch his spirit, and it brought fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, mercy (goodness in NASB), faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Gal. 5:22-23). The center of this process is Jesus Himself (we are \u201ccrucified with Christ\u201d Gal. 2:19).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">The spirit of Jezebel brings a lot of judgement and division among believers all over the Earth, and I would say that the key Scripture about this is Jacob 2:13,<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">\u201cFor judgment {will be} merciless to one who has shown no mercy;\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"GramE\" style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">mercy<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\"> triumphs over judgment.\u201d (NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Once my pastor said one phrase that literally pierced my spirit, and I was thinking a lot about the depth of what I heard him say.\u00a0\u201cUnderstanding leads to mercy.\u201d When I heard that, the Holy Spirit came on me, and these words were sealed in me, and later I understood why.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Mercy (the fruit of spirit) is the position of maturity. It is what comes out of our spirit, and it is mercy that overcomes judgement. When we attain to the \u201cstature which belongs to the fullness of Christ\u201d (Eph. 4:13), we stop being babies in the Spirit through the realization of His Love. We become mature, when we take our positions, and the true understanding comes. Through this particular understanding we are being led\u00a0to mercy. When we understand the reasons why someone does or doesn&#8217;t do something, this also leads us to mercy, to the ability to forgive and not to judge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">The Russian dictionary of <span class=\"SpellE\">Ushakov<\/span> is unfolding the meaning of the word \u201cMercifulness\u201d as the readiness to help the one in need because of compassion. The synonyms given are: mercy, compassion, sympathy, indulgence, kindness. The antonym is: hardness of heart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Luke 6:35-36 \u201c\u2026for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil {men.}\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Numbers 14:18 \u201cThe Lord is long-patient and all-merciful\u2026\u201d (\u201cThe LORD is slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness\u201d NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Reading the above mentioned Scriptures we can see that to be merciful is the heart of our Father. And namely because of the fleshly nature people tend to show lack of mercy (hardness of heart),<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Mark 16:14 \u201cAfterward He appeared to the eleven <span class=\"GramE\">themselves\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"GramE\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">as<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\"> they were reclining {at the table;} and He reproached them for their unbelief\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"GramE\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">and<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\"> hardness of heart, because they had not believed those\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"GramE\" style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">who<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\"> had seen Him after He had risen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Spiritual maturity doesn\u2019t depend on physical age, but on the depth of knowledge of His love. This knowledge is where all the victories over the powers of evil come from, as \u201cin all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us\u201d (Rom.8:37). We are the generation that is called to see great victories, as well as victory over the spirit of Jezebel. We are called not only to see, but to live in these victories. It is a \u201cgreat and victorious procession of the church under the banners of love\u201d (Max <span class=\"SpellE\">Biievets<\/span>).
